The good news is that our Hyprolyser electrochlorination systems are fully compliant under the rules of the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) GB BPR, with no changes following the regulatory move from the EU BPR marketplace.
Clarification of this comes after the HSE released their latest update on ‘Active chlorine generated from sodium chloride by electrolysis (CAS 7782-50-5 EC n/a) in product types 02, 03, 04, 05 and 11’, which means this active substance has been successfully notified into the GB Review Programme.
Basically, this confirms that on-site electrochlorination is authorised for use in these industrial applications: swimming pools (02), veterinary hygiene (03), food industry (04), drinking water (05) and cooling tower industry (11).
Following these changes in regulatory bodies, we continue to closely monitor BPR so that our innovative water disinfection products and advice always remain up to date and compliant with the latest regulatory requirements.
As always, our unique Hyprolyser® electrochlorination systems remain the reliable and sustainable option for on-site chlorine generation, providing safe, clean water without the need for storing and transporting chemicals to site.
