Electrochlorination is the on-site production of sodium hypochlorite solution by electrolysis of brine. The resulting sodium hypochlorite solution generated is non-hazardous, containing less than 1% sodium hypochlorite (0.5-0.7%). Far below the hazardous threshold, this provides health & safety and COSHH management benefits, lowering workplace risk.
